A big thank you to our Spartanburg employees who volunteered at our We Care Event on June 28, 2022 at the Greer Soup Kitchen. They assisted in food prep, serving meals and cleaning dishes. Martin Luther King, Jr. once said “Somewhere along the way, we must learn that there is nothing greater than to do something for others.” It is so rewarding to work with employees who recognize the joy and value in serving others. The Greer Soup Kitchen, a part of Daily Bread Ministries, is a non-profit, charitable organization in Greer, SC that was founded in 1990 when concerned citizens observed that people in their own town were going hungry. One meal was served on their first day. Today over 150 meals per day are served in a modern restaurant-style facility.
